Diwali in Bur Dubai

Bur Dubai is the heart of the Dubai City. This year the streets came alive with the sight of Diwali decorations. The entire stretch of Meena Bazar was glowing with neon lights this year, decorated in various patterns at the shops and the building balconies. Check out some of the photographs below: - 

Harley Davidson Show - Doha

Around 300 Harley Davidson bikers in the Gulf took part to support the cancer awareness drive spearheaded by Qatar National Cancer Society with a fund donation. Virgin Mobile and Qtel were the sponsors of the event. Below are the pics from the exhibition displaying some of the most breath taking bikes from GCC.



Orangery Trottoir Cafe La Cigale

You will find Orangery Café Trottoir located in the front, facing C Ring Road, with inside and outside seating. The high class atmosphere, giant windows and high ceiling gives it a grand look. The chocolate shop and ice-creams are worth a try. The cafe has got real orange plants giving the ambience a fresh feel.



Cultural Village - Doha, Qatar

Built on reclaimed coastal land to the north of Doha, the Cultural Village conceptualized to reflect the heritage of Qatar through traditional architecture that accommodates lots of activities. This US$82million project includes an amphitheatre, heritage centers, libraries, art galleries and other academic facilities, not to mention retail outlets, coffee shops, museum facilities and market areas.

Buddha - सिद्धार्थ गौतम

Siddhārtha Gautama was a spiritual teacher from ancient India who founded Buddhism. In most Buddhist traditions, he is regarded as the Supreme Buddha (P. sammāsambuddha, S. samyaksaṃbuddha) of our age, "Buddha" meaning "awakened one" or "the enlightened one." (via Wikipedia)

At the Hindu Temple in Colombo - In this photo Buddha is in Bhumisparsha Mudra. i.e. Earth Touching, Calling the Earth to Witness. Mudras are a non-verbal mode of communication and self-expression, consisting of hand gestures and finger-postures.
