Display of Toys at Dubai Mall

Check out these pics I discovered while walking around the Dubai Mall near Hamleys. I like the way all the blocks have been assembled to make these amusing toys. Upon Googling I found this company call Playmobil which has an excellent collection of toys. I am not sure if all the toys on display are of the same company though.

Festive Tree at Dubai Mall

The below Christmas Tree is 9 ft long and is decorated with more than 20,000 lights. Enjoy the pictures or take a walk around the Dubai Mall for a view.

Water Balls at Dubai Festival City

Dubai Festival City has a leisure spot where visitors can float in the water by getting themselves into a ball. You would need to zip into the Water Ball filled with Oxygen to have an entertaing time. The spot can be found at the Canal Walk area of the mall.

Ears Please featured on the Angry Arab blog yesterday. The UAE National Flag post was featured on the blog. The Angry Arab blog is run by professor As'ad AbuKhalil who is a professor of political science at California State University, Stanislaus and visiting professor at UC, Berkeley.

World's Largest Flag in UAE

Check out the photgraphs of the world's largest flag below. The flag is on display at Qanat Al Qasba in Sharjah and has been officially entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. The flag was done by Sedar Group of companies, which employed 448 men to complete the task.

I was at the Dubai Mall Fountain area yesterday, and clicked few pics of the extravagent - The Address Downtown Burj Dubai Hotel.

Floors  - 63

The tower is the 9th tallest building in Dubai and 44th largest in the world.

Hyatt at ADNEC

Check out the pics of the Hyatt a new 200-room, five-star hotel adjacent to Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC). When complete, Hyatt Capital Gate will be 525 feet and 35 stories tall. I am impressed by the curvilinear design of the hotel.

Chateu de Chillon - Series Continued

The Chillon Castle (Château de Chillon) is located on the shore of Lake Geneva in the municipality of Veytaux, at the eastern end of the lake, 3 km from Montreux, Switzerland. The castle consists of 100 independent buildings that were gradually connected and now form a single whole.
